'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is currently midway through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the initial significant honor of his distinguished career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would seriously think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
